So 13 is a crappy number? Think again. 13 is a flipping awesome number and this bizarre month of March (bizarre because it keeps snowing!), it has brought me nothing but joy. I’ll tell you all about it!

First of all, I need to tell you that this is the first post written on my new toy!!! And no, I am not talking about a Transformer or a very smart Japanese robot dog. I am talking about my new Notebook! Yes, it has magically arrived! 2 days in advance, even. Don’t ask me how that happened. Anyway, it’s here, it’s shiny and keeewl (cool Cartman style), it’s black and it’s so small and cute, awww. It’s name is Balthazar (if I can’t name my kid Balthazar, I can always name my comp like that, ha!) and it is awesome. Of course, it had to have Windows 7 Starter, which is seriously weak, but ah well. I can always upgrade it, but I kind of wanna get used to it first. Thank God for the existence of patches on the net, cos now I get to change my desktop background (which Windows 7 Starter does not allow by the way; how totally lame is that?), and obviously, my precious was smart enough to track the patch down. Naughty, naughty Microsoft! Notebooks have souls too!

Anyway, I am beyond happy to have it, and I can’t wait to bring it to school, cos that’s why I got it. No more shall I suffer due to eternally busted up, disease-carrying crap machines in school. And this time, I’ll make sure Balthazar stays immaculate, so no more STD-ridden USBs for you! (yes, I frequently compare comp viruses with STDs, because come on, just think about it!)

Today rocked, and not only because I got this new piece of technology. There were cookies in the fridge, I ate my favourite dish for lunch (LASAGNA), and while I ate there was the song “Wonderful Life” on the radio (It’s a wonderful, wonderful life…). In the evening I cooked my first ever omelet. Do not laugh, I am barely starting to learn how to cook. But what I make is pretty effing good, and in the end, what matters is that you don’t die from it. Not very soon, anyway. So the day rocked. I did have a mini-continuation to a mini-fight with my precious BF but it also ended so it’s okay. Alas, I find some aspects of my relationship similar to some of the lyrics in Pink’s “Please don’t leave me”. Think about it. But my sweet heart is too mature and too emotionally stable to be frightened about something like that. He accepts me. Aww… Therefore, 13 is no longer a calendar date I fear.

Of course, there is the exam sadly coming up in less than a week, which I will definitely fail. Re-fail, to be exact, but WTF? I shall not permit an aspect as weak as an exam to control my life, my youth and my emotional lack of balance. I shall be mad as a hatter because I so desire to be, not because of the merciless onslaught of higher education. And yes, I definitely wanna see Alice again sooo badly. I also need new glasses and a haircut. Ah, the trivial difficulties of my life…

I shall be off now, mostly cos I am tired. I am probably going to avoid sleeping for another half an hour, only to sit and stare at Balthazar, who is ever so quiet, sweet and pensive. In many ways, he is like me, just drop out the quiet, sweet and pensive part…Catch you guys later! Also, look forward to a review of True Blood (finally), and of course, a review about Balthazar (the true name, specs, details where you can buy one, etc), and a story about why I truly despise lame people who think that by constantly molesting a teacher with questions, they will somehow seem smarter and possibly more potent. This will also be the story of how I may snap and hurt someone during a class I have on Thursday, late in the night, when I am tired, impatient, possibly hungry and more than easily irritated. But until then, I bid you good night, my dear readers.
